In this weeks edition of Metropolis magazine, March 14, 2008 #729 page 25 I had a article written about me and my club event by editor James Coulson. Here is what was said if you haven't picked up this weeks copy.
"Storied Shibuya hideout The Room, famed for championing Tokyo's crossover/jazz scene with the Kyoto Jazz Massive, opens its doors to Texas-born DJ Antomattei (pictured), Canadian Clinton Lopez and friends for an evening of house, hip-hop, reggae and disco. Linked with MyDJSpace, an international community for likeminded club-goers and up-and-coming DJs, the night promises a healthy dose of smooth, warm and nostalgic dance, evocative of scene tastemaker extraordinaire Dimitri From Paris and incorporating beats from key influences Incognito and house mega-label Defected. Antomattei is a descendant of "Augie," trumpeter for the salsa and jazz band 1977 Puerto Rico All Stars, and is well-placed to spin an eclectic soundscape of chill, groovy, midweek fun-just in time for Thursday's public holiday."
